Network Health

As an independent insurance agent who specializes in Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans, I carry a responsibility to my clients to inform them of all their Medicare options within the current Medicare market. The State of Wisconsin places a special burden on insurance agents with respect to seniors, especially with regard to suitability; the agent has the responsibility to make sure that the insurance product is suitable for the client and that the client you understands the insurance product they are enrolling.

  1. Advantage over Supplement: For the vast majority of Medicare eligible persons; Advantage plans offer good financial value when you compare monthly premium costs over benefits. On rare occasions I will find someone with a medical history that makes Medicare Supplements a good choice for them.
  2. Why Network Health over other Advantage providers. I try to let people know that when buying insurance often it is all the intangible elements that separate one provider from another. Which include:
    1. Business structure – Network is owned by a non-profit christen charitable organization; there are no stock holders to satisfy - only clients.
    2. Network is a small local regional company, dedicated to servicing northeastern Wisconsin. They are located in Menasha Wisconsin.
    3. They have a high standard of ethics as a company and they expect the same from their agents.
    4. Problem Solving – Network partners every enrollee with a health care customer service representative.
    5. Access – as your agent I have better access to Network than the other national advantage providers serving Sheboygan County. Between your partnered health care representative and I, we have been able to solve 100% of enrollee issues.
    6. They have a membership advisory Board.
    7. They offer a family of health care plans; Select, Plus and Primer.
    8. They offer one of the finest Prescription Drug programs on the market.
    9. Medicare has rated them with the highest level of customer satisfaction than the other advantage plans offered in Sheboygan County
    10. PPO verse HMO/POS. Network Health is a Preferred Provider Organization, which means that if you us Network provides you will pay lower copays than out-of- network providers. The plan does not prevent you from using out-of-network providers as long as they accept Medicare. A Health Maintenance Organization / Point of Service is a PPO high bred. The HMO is the most restrictive in terms of health care providers and in this case the Green Bay regional area. The POS portion allows enrollees to go out of the service area at a significantly higher cost to the enrollee. It is up to the enrollee to verify whether a out of area health care provider is HMO or POS. This is especially true when you travel.
    11. Better travel benefits. As soon as you leave the State of Wisconsin for medical services you will be charge at the PPO rate.
    12. Pro-active health care
    13. Fitness Benefit that pays you to take a fitness class.
    14. There are not major financial pot holes.
    15. Great Value!

I can offer a client up to 12 different Medicare Supplement providers along with three different Advantage providers – one local and two national insurance providers. When they are all lined up toe to toe Network Health offers great value!
