Mead Public Library Jerry Black Café

Location Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Project Type Interior Remodel
Project Area 2,500 sq. ft.

Previously unfinished space in the southeast corner of the third floor was remodeled to house a cafe, periodicals, and a reading room. Care was taken to coordinate colors with a substantial collection of original Ruben Vega paintings of downtown Sheboygan, which were commissioned by the Kohler Foundation and donated to the library. The area is now known as the Jerry Black's Café.
