This 1926 worker's cottage was purchased as a vacation home for an active family. In order to better entertain their guests, the owners hired Jennifer Lehrke to seamlessly integrate a 1,200 square foot addition to the home and remodel approximately 1,100 square feet of the existing space. The entire basement was finished and a new family room was created in the addition. On the first floor, the original kitchen was converted into a mudroom, laundry, and powder room, and the addition contained a new kitchen which was open to a new hearth room with fireplace. On the second floor, a new master suite was provided.
